Our Purposes
To serve the people in a friendly and courteous manner and maintain our county records. This office is governed by the 'Kansas Open Records Act.' Almost all of the records are required by law to be open to the public. However, there are a few exceptions such as the 'Kansas Real Estate Validation Questionnaire' which has limitations, and also death records and military records are exempt from the "open records" Act.
