Burn PermitsIn 1995 the Washington County Commissioners passed resolution 6-95 to control the burning of combustible materials within any area located outside of the corporate limits of all cities located in Washington County. To obtain a permit please contact your fire chief, then before you burn call the Washington County Sheriff’s Department at 785-325-2293. The dispatcher will ask you for your name, permit number, what you are burning and the location. |
